Alan has 20 years of experience in Structured Trade & Commodity Finance covering both Hard and Soft commodities, general capital goods, and telecoms equipment. Prior to joining SB, Alan worked at Natexis/BFCE London Branch, Den norske Creditbank in Luxembourg, and Midland Bank/HSBC International Division in London. In 1997, he moved to London and held various trade finance-related positions before becoming part of the Trade & Corporate Financing team. Hugo’s experience includes soft commodities and copper, and his current responsibilities include the Bank’s tobacco portfolio and developing the corporate market in the Middle East/Gulf region, with specific emphasis on Pakistan, Egypt and the UAE. He holds a Masters Degree in Economics.
