As part of the Banks global trade business the Africa unit in Trade & Corporate Financing London assists global customers in structuring trade, commodity and corporate deals throughout the Sub Saharan Africa in conjunction with Corporate & Investment Bank Johannesburg, Stanbic Africa Wholesale divisions and selected Financial Institutions.

Tosin manages a portfolio of clients across a variety of sectors ranging from government to commodity traders, and he has specific expertise on downstream refined oil products financing. Tosin is an alumnus of the University of Manchester where he graduated with a degree in Accounting and Economics. In 2003, he was seconded to the Isle of Man for 3 years, as Director and Head of Standard Bank's Wholesale operation in the Isle of Man, primarily dealing with South African and African-related corporate clients. David is responsible for Trade Finance, primarily in the Sub-Saharan African region, reporting to Mark Batts.
